As a board member of Banyan Community, Platinum Group’s Tom Hubler is inviting friends, clients and trusted advisors to support the effort to transform lives in the Phillips Neighborhood by attending the Annual Banyan Banquet on October 27. The goal is close to Tom’s heart: developing youth, strengthening families and creating community.
Tom says, “This is an opportunity to see firsthand how a neighborhood faced with many challenges (30% of children living in poverty, 10% unemployment, and roughly half of students graduating from high school) is finding a new norm. That is, one where youth are graduating from high school and going to college. Community members believe they can make the neighborhood a better place to live, and families are invested in a hopeful vision of the future.”
