MINNETONKA, Minn. (April 14, 2025) – Ten Minnesota companies were named today as finalists for the third annual Meaningful Capitalism Awards. From this list, four honorees will be revealed during a reception May 6, 2025, at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Golden Valley, Minn., from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The Meaningful Capitalism Awards celebrate privately held Minnesota companies that are successful at growing and running a financially sustainable business, and doing so in ways that tangibly benefit individuals, families and communities.
Companies that live out Meaningful Capitalism…
- Are consistently profitable
- Are proactive in helping their employees become better people and grow professionally • Donate a portion of their profits to improve the lives of individuals and/or organizations that promote dignity and respect for people and vibrant, healthy communities
- Balance well the competing interests of the various stakeholder groups
- Provide products and services that enable the community to flourish

This awards program was inspired by the Minnetonka, Minn.-based business advisory firm Platinum Group.
