Greg Backlund brings 35 years of experience to Platinum in the areas of manufacturing operations, process improvement and Lean manufacturing. Most recently, he was Lean leader at Minnetronix Medical, Inc. in St. Paul. His background includes leadership positions at Cargill, SuperProtection Inc., Capella University and BORN Information Services. His operations improvement experience is in large and small companies alike, with a focus on applying the Theory of Constraints and Lean principles to improve manufacturing competitiveness. He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Iowa State University and a master’s degree in organization development from Pepperdine University. Backlund resides in Minneapolis.
Jennifer Strom helps business owners develop human resources (HR) strategies in the areas of talent, compliance, payroll technology and employee engagement. Her background includes 20 years of HR leadership with growing companies and consulting firms in hospitality, insurance, manufacturing, and professional services. Most recently, she was HR Director at Trissential in Wayzata. Other past HR leadership positions include MRA Trusight and RJF Agencies. She holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Strom resides in Loretto, Minn.
