Platinum Group Names Four New Partners

Minnetonka, Minn. — July 9, 2020 Platinum Group, a consulting firm that provides advisory services for business owners, private equity funds, family offices and entrepreneurs, announces that four of its consultants have been named Partner:

Bill English, M.A., LP, CPBPM helps clients with conflict resolution, leadership development and executive coaching. With C-level leadership in several businesses, English combines his entrepreneurial experience with his extensive background in family conflict as a Minnesota-licensed psychologist. He joined the firm in 2014 and also oversees the firm’s technology decisions.

Rod Peterson focuses on financial advisory, stepping in as an interim CFO for clients in need of guidance, and financing/raising capital for companies that are rapidly growing or in transition. His financial restructuring expertise was instrumental in Platinum Group’s winning the “Turnaround of the Year” award by the national Turnaround Management Association (TMA) in 2019 and Minnesota’s TMA in 2018. He joined in the firm in 2013.

Ron Leaf is involved in structuring and overseeing M&A activity for clients looking to acquire or sell their business. His extensive experience in banking, financing, private equity and the debt markets allows him to help business owners find solutions to their financial and transaction challenges. Ron also acts as Platinum Capital Partners' Chief Credit Officer. He joined the firm in 2015.

Randy Kroll, CPA has more than 35 years of leadership experience helping for-profit and nonprofit organizations to position themselves for growth and development. He joined the firm in 2017 and, as a former managing partner of a significant CPA firm, he focuses on interim leadership and financial advisory.
